In partnership with Markforged, Engitype<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>has been accepted into the U.S. Air Force\u2019s inaugural\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Advanced Manufacturing Olympics<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Out of 100 applicants, Engitype was accepted into the small pool to compete in technical challenges\u00a0designed to provide solutions to the Air Force\u2019s most significant sustainment issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.5.3″ _module_preset=”default”]

Engitype will be participating in two of the five technical challenge events– the\u00a0Approval Sprint\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Supply Chain Management\u00a0<\/em>challenges. The\u00a0Approval Sprint\u00a0<\/em>challenge will help\u00a0“identify innovative strategies for rapid design, qualification and deployment of sustainment solutions which leverage new manufacturing materials, processes, and components.” Meanwhile, the\u00a0Supply Chain Management\u00a0<\/em>challenge approaches to propose the best basing strategy for manufactured parts that satisfies the most requirements, and delivers parts on-time and on-schedule.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Advanced Manufacturing Olympics will be held virtually October 20th – 23rd.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
